SK and IZ Meeting on 11/09/09: Subjects to Discuss
This is a list of topics that need to be discussed on my meeting with IZ this Friday:
Work Packages: Review the deadlines on our Gantt chart and catch up on work. Also, talk about the English translation of the PhD proposal as well as its completion.
Super Collider: Interconnect SC and CCV through TUIO. Present my working ideas to IZ and get advice for an interactive music composition. Get help on SC by organizing weekly tutorial meetings.
GestMini V 0.2: Present my D.I. MTmini to IZ and talk about possible ways and techniques for calibration and lighting the multitouch table. Discuss on moving to a more advanced-build construction. Hold some series of tests to evaluate system usability.
PmWiki: Catch up with the design and administration work of Gestus and Earlab Pmwiki. More work need to be done.We need to start putting some text on it.
Ning: I have noticed some spam messages on Ning. Talk about it, try to find a solution to stop spam. Needs more updates as well.
Tumblr: It works great for me. I found easy and fast. We should continuing using it as it works well as RSS on Ning and as embedded page on Pwmiki.
Snow Leopard: research on possible ways of upgrading all Mac’s with one legal copy of Snow Leopard OS X.
Mini Projects: Create a series of small music projects involving students. Therefore, practice more on compositional ideas. Try to mix different tools. I am really interesting in polishing some SC work with Logic. This will gather enough music material to organize a music performance.
Personal: Discuss issues such as: Army, Health Insurance and financial support.
